This was my photo subject Emma playing a video game on her switch inside a coffee shop. This is a big hobby of hers so I thought it would be a great choice for the photo.
These are my images, the first one being the fence posts that made a great looking pattern. The second one is of my classmate looking for a photo opportunity and I thought they looked cool in this vast empty field. The third photo is a spot of color among these grey-green leaves, I had to get tangled in the grass to get this angle. The fourth one is the texture of bamboo I saw. The fifth one is the framing of a horse behind several metal fences while a leaf on the other side of the street shows nature, telling a story of this animals separation from its natural habitat. The last one is the leading lines of the trail that goes deep into the horizon.
For my inside photos I decided to take a picture of a plant I have in my room. I’ve always thought that this plant was so interesting to look at and captured the light in a great way so it was my first thought for this assignment. The second photo is of my girlfriend drinking coffee. That day was unexpectedly chilly but the inside of the coffe shop as well as the coffee itself was very warm and I wanted to capture that feeling.
The first photo for my outside lighting was of a bikerack that had the name of the mall written onto it. It made a really cool shadow that perfectly read out the name. This one was tricky because I had to find an angle in which my shadow didn’t interfere with the photo. The second picture shows a cool archway with shadows cast upon it. I thought it was cool how in the arch, each segment has a different shadow because of it’s angle.
